Nang'o!

Meet Willis, an incredible man of God whose heart is full of mercy and a desire to see chains broken and hearts restored. Coming from a life of alcohol abuse, Willis is now more than 10 years sober AND is now being used by God in incredible ways. Willis understands the darkness, brokenness, and hardships. Yet, he is a man changed by God and has a heart that bleeds for the people in situations that he once was. He has a heart to lift them up, to teach them God's word, and to see them transformed from brokenness to leaders. Willis and his wife, Mary, run a women's and men’s halfway house, a house for those wanting to change. Their ministry extends beyond Standing in the Gap, to visiting and caring for widows and prisoners.

Standing In The Gap - Kenya

Willis runs the Kenya branch of Standing in the Gap. This ministry is centered on discipleship and life-change through Jesus Christ for people battling addictions or coming out of prison. There is a one-year recovery program anda me half houses that offer a home to se

New Life Community Impact Center - Kenya

Willis also pastors this church. It is a place of hope for the lost and a light to the community. While we were there, the church hosted their first ever baptisms. What a blessing to be a part of!

The Goal of New Life Church Kenya is to minister the Word of God to all in the community and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and train up the body to walk in a manner worthy of the calling.

Missions and Prayer Requests

Prayers for:

1. Funding for Willis and the ministries. Willis is seeking a sustainable form of funding. Being in prison ministry, there is a lack of job options for the men and women in the program. We have high hopes that God will provide the ability for Gospel Coffee to partner more with Willis and Standing in the Gap to provide both jobs and finances to their ministry.

2. God to continue to water and grow seeds and raise up followers. We were able to share the gospel with close to1,500 people while in Kenya. We just ask that the Lord water those seeds and protect them and lead them to grow.
3. Walter the coffee farmer who gave his life and was baptized while we were there.
