Hola!!

Meet Samuel and Becky! They are currently in Oaxaca, Mexico working with the Zapotec people (including in San Pedro Yaneri)!

Our current Mexican coffee is sourced from the state of Oaxaca, known for its lush mountains and... rich linguistic diversity, which leads us to our mission here.

Quick Backstory: In March of 2023, we visited the small village of San Pedro Yaneri in the mountains of Oaxaca, Mexico. Through a series of God stories, we were led to a copy of the New Testament that was written in the indigenous language of the people of San Pedro. Graciously, they allowed us to return to the US with their Bible to duplicate this Bible so that they could all have it in their native tongue.

What we thought was going to be a simple process turned out to be very difficult and tedious. But God has been so evident to be with us. With God's direction, we were able to get in contact with a couple who are working with an organization focused on linguistics and Bible translation. We have been so blessed to connect with them and visit them just outside of Oaxaca City, Mexico.

Bible translation is not a simple process, there are many steps to ensure the text's validity, integrity, and meaning across languages and cultures. We are thankful for this couple's hard work and dedication to the work God has placed in their heart.

Thus our mission here: Fund missionaries dedicating their life to Bible translating through the purchase of green coffee.

Missions and Prayer Requests

Prayers for:

1. People of peace. Samuel and Becky are interested in helping the people of San Pedro Yaneri revise and publish their New Testament, but they are limited by language. We are praying that they can connect with people in San Pedro willing to join in the project.

2. The townspeople. There are roughly 700-800 people in the village and only a few families gather at the church. Please pray for the spread of the Gospel and for the transformation of hearts and lives by Jesus Christ.

3. Unity of the body of Christ. We have recently learned there are two churches in this town. Please pray that both congregations would be willing to support the New Testament project so that it would not be the New Testament of one church but of THE church.
